Let’s Grow Preston is a local charity promoting horticultural and environmental issues across the city. Working with the charity gives Mela the scope to showcase traditional craft arts and dance associated with rural heritage of the South Asian Community.
On Saturday 29th April 2023 Preston City Mela took part in the annual Spring Fair at Ashton Park Wall Garden Preston.
The event attracted large attendance and lots of participation in the activities.
The artistic programme from Mela included:
